Thinking about these. Currently have the Aluminum ones.

Might look better in a White 2008 TT.

What do you think?

I bought my wife a Cricut Maker for christmas one year recently and she's got some pretty damn nice vinyl that she prints on. I became a believer after printing off some rifle turret labels and soaking them in water for a week. The ink didn't run and the adhesive was still as sticky as ever. I'm currently working on some shifter labels for mine that'll go on some carbon fiber knobs. I can't look for the little clear poly "domes" to go on top til I get around to ordering the shifters so I can see the diameter of the flat patch on top, but you all will get the idea.

Yes I know the shifter pattern is wrong. I was working on them at work and away from the FJ and I went by what the downloadable owners manual said..which was naturally incorrect. Same concept applies though.

I've got a set of these and they actually fit if you're interested. I assume you have an automatic? I bought a set of Tinkerer knobs and don't need these anymore.

If ya like the black, get them! :))
It’s preference.

When I first saw the aluminum shifters when, I was first checking out FJ’s, I was instantly hooked. I was going to mod those regardless of which model I found.

I found the ‘08 TTSE and the rest is history. ;-)

The black knobs look sharp however.
Ya can’t go wrong.

This is the way. \m/

Just sayin'. If you're gonna bling up your FJ, you have to go all out. I'm starting my headliner patch collection since no one makes a rubber Godzilla for the dash, or even a three-eyed Blinky fish. I have a large Godzilla patch, a small one and 2 Toyota patches to start. It'll grow over time. I'll take a pic when I've got them stuck up there. ;)

Doesn't getting the FJ bug start that way? You take one look at an FJ and in the back of your brain, that little voice starts up saying: "That's cool. Must buy one". Then you buy one and that little voice says: "Must mod it". We'll, since I'm too old to mod mine for charging around in the dingleweeds, ceiling patches will have to do.
