I Am Wondering What The Dealership Told You To Use, And What You Are Really Using And Why ?
I agree. The price difference is only about 4 bucks a tank. Doesn't bother me.MadeInJapan said:The dealer didn't say "boo" about the gas.
I use 92 octane. In the big picture of things, it isn't that much more than 87. If I felt the need to pinch the pennies to that extent I would have bought a Yaris. Or maybe a '95 Geo Metro.

What I think the dealer meant "We filled your first tank with regular" ;-)
Anyway I use 91 or 94 octane (Usually 91 but last tank the 91 octane pump was broken).
Dude your car is brand new..Wait a little more the MPG will get a litte better. I use all kinds of octane in my tank, 87, 89, 91, 92..... It always cost me the same $40.....can not tell the diffference in performance...FJAggie07 said:Dude I have been running regular and getting 16 mpg. No bueno am switching over to premium to see if i get the mpg that they said on sticker. IF i do i did the math and it will be like getting 2 extra gallons out of my tank for another $3.20 at the pump...
