Yes, those pucker moments are the most memorable and often leave skid marks on and off the trail. Plus, they are just fun to look at. Post'em up!

Here are a few of mine. This is on Heart Attack Hill outside of Fort Collins, CO. The worst part for me was the cliff that was a few feet away on the passenger side.

I traversed the same spot 60 seconds before he went through..... I think I puckered more than he did.

Not CRAZY, but what you don't see is how I was stuck with the back right wheel at full droop in a rut and a muddy climb out (could not back out without losing a mirror. We ended up digging and jamming pine boughs for about 2 hours before I finally got out. The whole time the truck was blocking a tiny stream of run-off which ended up a pretty good pool of slop. Every time I started climbing out I'd slide back in and watch in the passenger mirror as my truck rocked towards the tree. In all the attempts it never touched but we could not get a finger between the two most of the time. The wheelin' gods smiled on me that day. We would have winched out but this was the last tree for 200 yards ahead.

Jeremy, have you run that trail again since you got your new suspension on?

That is one of the classic early forum shots which I remember downloading. Helped inspire my purchase of an FJ. :bigthumb:

This river bank was worse than it looked. Count on Sean to make a trail where there shouldn't be one... Geez, it was fun

The name of this thread had me concerned with exactly what kind of pictures would be located within it. Fingers were crossed that pics were not of actual skid marks and bacon strips and I was pleasantly surprised. :worried:

Finally, photographic evidence that my friend Mojodog (Gaylon) was actually on this trip with you guys.

Sand, just like really slippery mud, can make a guy feel helpless really quickly.
