I want to disable the TPMS (tire pressure monitor system) that comes on the 08's, because I plan on running two set's of wheel's and tire's and will be changing them frequently. I dont want to have to switch these monitors located in the wheel/tire every time, also I dont want to just throw them in the spare like some people say to do, so if I have to actually use the spare there no just flying around inside the tire. I dont think that just pulling fuse out or removeing sensor's will disable, just cause lights to go off.

what should I do ?

On my G35, I have a set of winter wheels & rubber, that do not have the TPS monitors on them. When I install them every winter, the TPS in the car never goes off, because the wheels don't have them installed. Maybe the FJ is the same...:thinkerg:
