I searched the forum, but could not find an answer.

Curious as to what model # the FJ Cruiser falls under? FJ##????

Remember it's engine code and model, so 'F' is for an in-line 6 ('B' was a 4 cyl diesel) and the 'J' is for jeep. As we don't have an in-line 6, no F for us. I guess the V-6 is code GS...

What is the "15" mean ??? 1/2 Ton ?? Series 15 hmm... of which... what... ????

I guess I should do more reading ehh... Where that FJ2006 Mag I got from the
trail team At... Arrrggg !!!

I was looking at Toyota's history like FJ45's, FJ55's, etc, etc. Just curious as to where our FJ Cruiser fall under.. An interesting note...the person that turned me unto Toyota's was my grandfather. He always talked about his "boys", AK10(?) and BJ25 that he kept while in Australia. Always talked about them being the camels of the desert.

I too will look at the literature again to see what it is referred as.

Well, Toyota has nothing to do with those numbers. They all come from the EPA, and I don't put to much trust in them these days :)
