So last Week I came across a thread here on the forum and that led me to
a thread on Tacoma world about some new bumpstops called
Super Bumps and while they're no where near a Jounce Shock
(and I know many of you are running jounce shocks and are itching to thread jack ,please don't, click here for the jounce shock thread )
Anyways ... Here's what it said :
And I just got mine today :rocker:
I'll be installing them later in the week .......What do you guys think ??? I realize they won't be
THAT different from stock but heck for $50 I figured I'd give them a shot !!
***UPDATE***
I FINALLY had a few minutes to install them today !!!
VERY easy install ..... Just used a large set of channel locks to grip the entire old bumpstop and unscrewed it ...... took the included bolt slid it into the new "super bump" , lined it up and tighted it up with the INCLUDED allen wrench ...... whole thing took like 20 minutes ( may even be quicker but I had quite a bit of mud to spray off).... anyways , here's some comparison and installed pics ........ I hope to really get to test them out soon offroad ........
Much thanks to fjlcsas for posting the original thread and Dan at wheelers for the BEST customer service EVER and letting me be the FIRST to run them on an FJc !!
