Do you get better or worse MPG with a snorkel? Keep in mind I a have a CAI that it would be attached to.

I did notice cooler intake temperatures after installing the snorkel at cruising speed.

The colder the air going into the engine, the more dense, and more horsepower.

Is it enough to "feel" probably not. Is it enough to measure a difference? If you could eliminate all of the hundreds of variables that come in to play, my guess would be yes, but it would be minimal compared to changing driving habits to improve economy.

Intake temperature has made a BIG drop, so I was anticipating a noticeable mileage difference, but it has not appeared so far. Driving habits and terrain have been the only things I have seen to improve consumption. Especially terrain. Here in NE Florida the roads are pancake flat so if you are moving forward you are certainly on the gas pedal. Mileage: between 14 and 17. But when I travel into the mountains, either out west or here in the east, and start doing the big rolling hills things get WAY better. Mileage: between 19 and 22.

I've had mine on for a while and I have to agree with every one else. I've noticed absolutely no difference in MPG with the snorkel.
